Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Poor. 1st Edition. A somewhat obscure work by Sartre, uncommon in the hardcover first edition. This copy is very good in a poor dust jacket. FFEP clipped where previous owner's name was, otherwise clean, tight. Dust jacket is poor - chipped with a small piece missing from the lower spine (which itself is slightly faded). More photographs available upon expressed interest. 119 pages.

Original o primera edición
First U.S. edition and first printing. Hardcover. 119 pages. An essay by Sartre translated and annotated with an introduction by Forrest Williams and Robert Kirkpatrick. A tight near fine copy in cloth boards with a former owners names rubberstamped to the front free endpaper and in a very good plus dust jacket that has a 1.5" tear to the bottom of the front panel, some other small edge tears, tiny chips and some sunning to the spine. Despite the flaws a pleasing copy of this fairly uncommon book.
