With scarce order form folded, with striking illustration on verso. Inaugural issue of this short-lived "magazine of poetry & polemics"only four issues (one double) were published (which included the famous Andy Warhol cover).

Third of five issues published (the 4th issue being a double issue) of this insightful and influential underground magazine. This issue is dedicated to "A Vietnam Assemblage," published during the early days of the Vietnam War. The cover was designed by Andy Warhol with perforated glue-backed yellow stickers, each featuring the text "BOMB HANOI", designed to be detached and disseminated. Features multiple notable contributors including Allen Ginsberg, Jackson Mac Low, Carol Berge, Charles Bukowski, Kathleen Fraser, Gerard Malanga, Jess and Carolee Schneeman among others. Interspersed with quotations from newspapers, magazines, and photo captions from the Associated Press and elsewhere. A wonderful assemblage. In Very Good condition with faint wear along the spine due to the binding, and some slight creasing to the lower left corner of the front cover, else Near Fine. All perforations on the cover are strongly intact and interior pages are crisp and clean. Scarce in such complete condition.
