Descripción Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fine. 1st Edition. The authors tell their story of their move from the Bronx in New York to Taos, New Mexico in the early 1970's. These two talented High School students made this move, built their own one room house among the Chamisa (Sagebrush), and tell of what they brought to the "community", and what they learned from their experience there. Many photos add to their story. The book has light tape residue to the cover edges and the free end papers where the jacket was taped on. An interesting read and experience of what it was like in this area with the Mexican and Native populations interacting with the many Anglo invaders. First Edition / First Printing.
