Raymond Briggs is known for his innovative ideas. He has won numerous prizes, including the Greenaway and Kurt Maschler, a BAFTA for the film of THE SNOWMAN and, most recently, Illustrated Book of the Year for ETHEL AND ERNEST. Raymond lives in Sussex.
